Effective March 9, 2026, the Pierce Transit Service Delivery and Capital Committee has been permanently cancelled, pursuant to Resolution No. 2026-004, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Pierce Transit on March 9, 2026. No further meetings will be scheduled.  

The SDCC is comprised of four (4) voting members of the Board of Commissioners and one (1) non-voting member appointed from the Community Transportation Advisory Group (CTAG), and its role is to give additional oversight on items including but not limited to the operational service needs of the system, the customer experience, and significant capital projects.

The SDCC has been delegated the authority by the Board to approve contracts for goods and services in a value up to $1 million and approve capital project budget changes valued up to $500,000, but no more than twice during the course of a capital project.

SDCC meetings are held the third Thursday at 3 p.m. during the months of February, April, June, August, October and December unless canceled or rescheduled.

Citizens have the option of attending meetings virtually using the Zoom address listed on the agenda, or in person at the following location: Pierce Transit Training Center, 3720 96th Street SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. The meeting room will be open to the public 30 minutes prior to the meeting and is wheelchair accessible.
