New Podcast Episode: Pierce Transit has HART

On this episode of South Sound Connected, we talk with Michelle and Karli about the services offered by the Hardship Assistance Response Team (⁠HART⁠). This program, in partnership with Pierce County and MultiCare, provides assistance to those in crisis at or near Pierce Transit facilities in our service area.

An over-height vehicle struck the bridge on August 18, causing significant damage and leading to its immediate closure. The closure caused significant travel disruptions, with temporary shuttle services being established to help residents travel between the two cities.
